Pirates Fall to Fourth at WSC-Antelope Valley

In perfect weather conditions in the High Desert, the Ventura College men's golf team shot a team score of 389 to finish fourth at the Western State Conference No. 6 event hosted by Antelope Valley College at the par 72 Antelope Valley Country Club. Michael Ray tied for seventh overall with a 2-over 74 while Nick Burns and Justin Perich carded a 76 and 77, respectively. Canyons won the event with a team score of 367 followed by Santa Barbara (380) and Glendale (382).

Kaden Santos and Mason Teron each turned in an 81 for the Pirates while Jake Yasutake carded an 83.

Ventura next travels to the WSC No. 7 tournament hosted by Victor Valley College at Spring Valley Lake Country Club in Victorville on Monday March 25. Tee times begin at 10:00 am.
