Resnick Medalist, VC Wins WSC-Citrus Event

Brandon Resnick shot a 2-under par 70 Monday at San Dimas Country Club to claim medalist honors at the WSC-Citrus event.  Ventura finished in first place with a team score of 367, seven strokes ahead of second place Canyons.

Brandon Resnick carded a 2-under par 70 to claim medalist honors, leading the Pirates to a first place finish at the Western State Conference event hosted by Citrus College at San Dimas Country Club Monday. Joey Herrera and Kyle Dollison each shot an even-par 72 as Ventura totaled a score of 367, seven shots ahead of second place Canyons. Citrus finished third with a score of 381.

Ethan Winkler (74), Denis Kakimoto (79) and Connor Philpott (81) rounded out the Pirates' scoring on Monday.

The Pirates return to the course on Monday March 20 at the WSC-Neutral Site event at El Camino Country Club in Oceanside, the site of the Southern California Championships later in the season.
