GOLF: The Ventura College golf team finished sixth of 11 teams at the College of the Canyons Invitational Monday at Crystalaire Country Club in Llano in the High Desert. The Pirates carded a team score of 402 to finish in the middle of the pack. Canyons won the event with a 378, followed by Orange Coast and Riverside. Greg Robarge was the low player for the Pirates with a 74, followed by Aaron Lee (75), Remy Smaby (82) and Erik Thorbecke (82), Patrick Holden (85) and Greg Brown (87).
Ventura heads back to the High Desert to Antelope Valley Country Club for a WSC event on Monday March 24.
