Pirates Continue Roll at LA Pierce

The VC men's basketball team continued to roll, defeating Los Angeles Pierce 100-87 Wednesday in Woodland Hills. Adrian McIntyre topped the 30-point mark for the fifth time this season, leading the way with 35 while Anthony Garza netted 18 for Ventura (15-2, 2-0).

The Pirates led the Brahmas 53-46 at halftime before outscoring Pierce 47-41 in the second 20-minute period.

Anthony McIntyre scored 17 points in the victory while Jelani Bell had 14 for the Pirates.

VC's Jan. 15 home game against Moorpark has been rescheduled for Monday Jan. 31 at the Athletic Event Center. The Pirates' next contest is currently scheduled for Saturday Jan. 22 at Oxnard College at 1:00 pm.
