The Pirates' men's basketball team dropped a 66-52 decision at Los Angeles Valley College Friday night in Valley Glen. Timothy Turner scored 15 points while pulling down 10 rebounds and seven assists to lead VC (3-4). Dayshone Henry totaled 16 points and Dayveon Bates netted 10 points with eight boards for the Pirates.
Thomas Dangerfield scored six points in the effort for Ventura.
The Pirates return home on Saturday Nov. 30, taking on Mt. San Jacinto College. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 pm at the Athletic Event Center.
