Kendall Brock enters his third season with the Pirates after spending two seasons as the wide receivers coach for Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.  Prior to Willamette he served as the offensive coordinator at Spanish Springs High School in Reno, Nevada for one season.

Brock joined the Pirates coaching staff in 2018 serving as the run game coordinator and running backs coach.  With Brock directing the running backs, VC finished fourth in the CCCAA in total rush yards with 2,645.  During the Southern California championship season, Brock helped Thomas Duckett and Hayden Nease achieve All-Conference honors.  Duckett finished his sophomore campaign with 1,128 rush yards and 10 touchdowns and was named Northern Conference Offensive Player of the Year, first team All-State, and first team All-American. 

Brock was a four-year letterman (2011-2014) as a running back and wide receiver during his playing days at the University of Nevada under Hall of Fame Head Coach Chris Ault. As a freshman he primarily played primarily as a kick returner with 25 returns for 562 yards. As a sophomore, he averaged 23.35 yards per kick return to rank sixth in the Mountain West Conference and 49th in NCAA Division I. He had three games with at least 100 return yards. 

During his junior year, he moved to running back and played in all 11 games with nine starts. He led Nevada with 812 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns. He recorded two 100-yard rushing games against UC-Davis and San Diego State.

As a senior, Brock moved to wide receiver and played in all 13 games, catching 16 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown. He also tied the Nevada record with 70 career kickoff returns.
