Bobby Mooshagian enters his 11th year with the Pirates with an extensive background in both playing and coaching. He will be the Passing Game Coordinator in 2021 and returns to coaching the Wide Receivers this season, a responsibility he held in 2011 and 2013-18. He also coached the quarterbacks in 2012 during the Pirates only undefeated season in program history. In his nine seasons, Mooshagian has had 30 total All-Northern Conference selections at wide receiver and return specialist.

Mooshagian's energy mixed with knowledge of the game has been a strong consistency for the Pirate football program. Mooshagian is also the program's Director of Creative Design, a position he has held since 2016.

Mooshagian prepped at San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno, helping lead the Panthers to a CIF Central Section title his junior year and a berth in the Division II semifinals as a senior in 2004. He led the team with 21 catches for 278 yards in 2003, and posted 27 catches for 423 yards his senior year, while playing in only 5 games. He was also the team's punt returner and played safety on defense, recording 70 tackles over two seasons. He was named the City MVP in the City/County All-Star game after catching five passes for 130 yards and a touchdown.

Mooshagian played two seasons at Sacramento State, earning All-Big Sky Conference accolades his freshman season. In his sophomore year, he earned offensive player of the game honors against Boise State, a team that would finish the year ranked No. 3 in the nation. He also served on the CSUS Leadership Committee as a sophomore.

Mooshagian began his coaching career during his redshirt season in 2007, returning to his alma mater San Joaquin Memorial. He coached the wide receivers and kick returners, and was elevated to offensive coordinator for the team's final six games of the season.

Transfer requirements forced Mooshagian to sit out the 2008 season when he attempted to play at the College of Mt. Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio. He remained with the Lions, however, serving as a student assistant with the program under Head coach Rod Huber. He assisted with the Wide Receivers and the Special Teams Coordinator.

Mooshagian assisted at Feather River College in Quincy, Calif. in 2009 and 2010, coaching wide receivers for the Golden Eagles. In 2009, his top two receivers averaged 21.1 and 22.8 yards per catch, both ranking in the top-5 in the state. Feather River played for the conference championship in their final game of 2009 and finished 6-4 in 2010.

Mooshagian completed his Associate of Arts degree from the College of the Sequoias in Visalia in 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education in 2010 from Almeda University. Mooshagian resides in Camarillo with his seven-year old son Nathan.
