FOOTBALL: Offensive lineman Greg Hughes has earned All-American honors from the California Community College Football Coaches Association for his efforts during the Pirates' 2013 football season. Hughes, a 6-foot-6, 360-pound freshman from Clarksville, Tenn. is the only Pirate to earn all-American distinction this season. Quarterback Brad Odeman, wide receiver Dylan McDaniel, all-purpose back Aaron Stanton and safety Patrick Hall joined Hughes on the Region IV first-team All-State team.
