BASEBALL: The Pirate baseball team ended the season with a 5-2 victory at Allan Hancock College Thursday in Santa Maria, closing the 2014 year with four consecutive wins and victories in five of their final seven games. Sophomore Tyler Watson pitched a complete game for his seventh win of the season and had a pair of hits at the plate, including a two-run homer in the eighth inning for VC (15-20, 9-11). Harrison Crawford was 3-5 at the plate with a run scored and Brian Magana produced two hits and scored a run. Bradley Fullerton had a two-RBI triple in the ninth inning to put the game away.
