BASEBALL:  The Ventura College baseball winning streak stopped at two games as the Pirates fell to Allan Hancock College 6-2 Saturday at Pirate Park. Bulldog pitching limited VC (7-14, 3-6) to eight singles offensively. Bradley Fullerton had a pair of hits and scored a run while Michael Volaski also had two safeties. Jordan Simon had a single and an RBI while Tyler Watson produced an RBI on a Sacrifice fly. Logan Letofsky limited Hancock to four earned runs into the seventh inning, while Nathan Coakley and Steven Martinez each had scoreless appearances on the mound.

Ventura will close out their two-game set with Hancock in Santa Maria on Tuesday March 25 before traveling to Santa barbara on Thursday March 27. Both games begin at 2:30 pm.
