BASEBALL:  Ventura College Baseball dropped another game Tuesday, 5-1 to No. 2-ranked Oxnard College, and while VC's play has improved, positive results have still not come. The Pirates (4-12, 0-4) took a 1-0 lead but failed to cash in on on two additional runners in the third inning and the score remained the same until the Condors scored three times in the sixth. Shawn Domke responded after a pair of tough outings to give Ventura six quality innings on the mound with three runs allowed. Nathan Coakley added a scoreless ninth inning with a strikeout. Dylan Colman had two hits and Tim Ginther added an RBI double.

The Pirates will look to turn sound their luck on Thursday afternoon, March 13, as they travel to Los Angeles Pierce College before returning home to play host to the Brahmas on Saturday, March 15 at 1:00 pm.
