In their inaugural season, the Ventura College beach volleyball team is headed to the Southern California Regional Playoffs.  VC (9-4) will head to Grossmont College (19-3) on Tuesday May 3 for a round-robin contest against the host Griffins and Fullerton College (10-5).  Play will begin at 12:30pm in El Cajon.

Ventura finished second in the Western State Conference with a 7-2 record, behind only El Camino. Grossmont, meanwhile, dominated the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference to earn hosting duties and Fullerton came in third in the Orange Empire Conference.

The regional champion will play in the CCCAA State Final Four, also at Grossmont, on Friday May 6.
