The women's water polo team returned to the playoff last week after a runner-up finish in the Western State Conference Tournament. Freshman sprinter Raylynn Lipsky was a major player in the success of the team. The Moorpark High School product was the "glue" of the team, playing almost every possession of every game. She was a creator on offense and was a strong defender as well. She led the team in assists and steals for the season, and was second in goals scored. For her efforts, Raylynn has been named this week's VC Pirate Student Athlete of the Week.
