Tyler Hickok enters his ninth year at Ventura College in 2016-17. He has become a mainstay among the 19 intercollegiate sports with the Pirates.
He began his athletic training experience as an undergraduate student at San Diego State University where he received his B.S. in kinesiology, specializing in athletic training in 2001. He became a graduate assistant at Long Beach State working with baseball and women's basketball. After earning his M.A. in kinesiology in 2004, Tyler worked at USC University Hospital as a staff athletic trainer and at Cal State Northridge training the women's basketball and men's volleyball teams.
Tyler loves his job working with the student athletes at Ventura College and hopes to be a Pirate for a long time. He and his wife Melony live in Camarillo.
