Updates for Spectators at Home Ventura College Athletic Events

Updated January 11, 2022

The recent surge in Covid-19 due to the Omicron variant has changed the landscape of our intercollegiate athletics at Ventura College. To help insure an environment that is as safe as possible for student athletes, coaches, support personnel and fans, VC Athletics is issuing the following reminders and new guidelines for those in attendance at our home basketball games and spring athletic events.

  1. Purchase tickets online before coming to the event for M/W Basketball and Baseball. Visit https://ventura.vbotickets.com/events to purchase tickets. Either print your ticket at home and bring to the game or use your mobile device to display for scanning upon entry at the specific facility.
  2. Please complete a health questionnaire online (https://campuscloud.readyeducation.com/#/cb/web-form/wSsYQc8eHBgDzHI8NcDDMA/start) on your mobile device before coming to campus to watch the games.
  3. Basketball game attendees are mandated by the Ventura County Community College District to wear a mask. We also ask that you practice social distancing in the Athletic Event Center.
  4. Capacity at basketball games in the Athletic Event Center will be limited to 250 fans with mezzanine seating only.
  5. Outdoor events do not have a mask mandate at this time. We ask that you practice social distancing while attending Baseball, Softball, Tennis, or any other VC Athletic event outside.

We are glad to be back in action and we are very appreciative of your support of Ventura College Pirate Athletics!
